My husband and I go here sometimes for the buffet. It's pretty ok. It's always quiet, not too busy. If you want to get fresh sushi, you'll need to go earlier in the day. We went there for dinner a couple of times and most of the food was not too fresh. It's all right but wouldn't get my hopes up.

I went in with low expectations given the value price ($6.49 for the dinner buffet!) and somewhat run-down exterior. Color me surprised! An extensive choice of dishes - two LARGE hot serving tables (24+ dishes), a sushi table, and two cold tables. (By comparison, the Golden Dragon "lunch buffet" just down the street had a total of five hot dishes.). No salad bar, but plenty of other food to choose from. I don't eat sushi, so I cannot judge the quality, but it seems like a great value if you wish to try it. Eight flavors of ice cream including Blue Moon and Superman (my favorite!). Definitely a good value. Good service - even came out to our car to return a toy left on the table. I don't often see many cars here in the daytime, we waited for a weekend night with more cars to get fresher food, as with any buffet, and the quality and freshness were fine. Will come again!

i live near the tokyo road house and i noticed that they have a small inclosed trailer that some guy named won drived at night around neighbor hood streets picking up animals please somoone put a end to this i tried calling police and i know they are not paying attention to it 2 weeks ago i followed and he picked up a black lab ..golden retriver and a shitzu please stop these chinsese Location: plainfield area

This is a $7.00 dinner buffet, I suppose I could end this review right there and you would know everything. As in all things, you get what you pay for, in this case a bucket of food, and really depressing decor. I didn't heed other peoples warnings before I went, so I sit here with intense self loathing, and hope to spare you the same.

Good for what you pay for. Cheap and delicious. Could be a bit cleaner, but never gotten sick from eating here unlike at other buffets I have been to.

Stopped in here while getting my tires at Firestone. You cant really expect a lot from a Chinese Buffet, but this place is absolutely terrible. They coat ttheir food in the same sweet grease and it all tastes horrid. The noodles are tough and greasy, and the rice was dry. Just bad.

I think this restaurant has changed owners at least 3 times in the last couple years. They seem to close down and then re-open again. I'm not impressed by their food. The area in saturated with chinese restaurants and this place is probably the worst. If I had a craving for chinese, I would rather eat cup ramen at home than eat at this place.

Cheap price for moderately delightful food, buffet style . I remember the location (before the name and management change) had more of a food selection, however, prepared sushi in front of you for a decent price, does have it's charm. While the sushi is the only novel thing Tokyo has going for it, it is, more or less, a classic Asian restaurant that I just came from and will go back to. Just don't expect the service to shine, though, they are good about making your plates disappear.
